(HISTORICAL LISTING - No longer serving as a research vessel)
The Cisco served as a USGS research vessel.  When retired from service, the Cisco was to be placed off Muskegon as an artificial reef and dive site, but the idea was scrapped due to environmental concerns. The vessel is now for sale and was spotted in 2017 near Beaver Island. Photo credit: Don McNaught.
