Comments:

R3011 is a nearshore vessel used primarily to support Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary activities.  It is a former NOAA Coast Survey vessel that has been adapted for Great Lakes research.  The vessel has a removal side door, tank racks and heated cabin to support dive operations.  It is also used to deploy and retrieve the seasonal shipwreck marker moorings maintained by TBNMS and is a capable platform for small sonar and ROV surveys.
