Comments:

The R4107 is a short to medium range research vessel that is almost exclusively used for day trips in and out of Saginaw Bay, MI. She is not currently equipped for night operations and she is predominantly used for scientific research near to Saginaw Bay. Examples of her various missions include:

launch and recover small scientific instruments
CTDs and water sampling
support dive operations
serve as a reconnaissance and observation platform
