R2601 is a near shore vessel used primarily in Saginaw Bay to support Harmful Algal Bloom research.  For a small vessel, R2601 is very versatile with an open deck and a hydraulic winch and A-frame for sampling and deployments. This 26 ft Sea Arc was fitted with a new 4.2 L Cummins-Mercruiser I/O Diesel Engine in 2014.
